On May 4th 2024 Mr. Day was privileged to be invited on Honor Flight 24 with World War II, Korean, and Vietnam Veterans. Mr. Day stated it was fantastic, overwhelming, and humbling. Mr. Day is the sixth seated person from the left in the last photograph taken in front of the Marine Corps Memorial in Arlington Cemetery.
